During the development process Blue Lounge perfected the design using Alpha Prototypes' Rapid Prototypes. Rapid Prototyping or "3D prototyping" is the process of converting a 3D CAD Model to a physical part. The increased speed and reduced cost of Rapid Prototyping enabled Blue Lounge to experiment with different designs to refine the function without the need for conventional tooling.
