About the Product:
The Delta Scanner was specifically developed for the reduction of chronic pain. The Delta Scanner is a home use version of the Med-Lectric family of scanners which uses specialized waveforms to treat and reverse pain without the use of medication. The early technology was developed in Russia for the treatment of Cosmonauts and has been painstakingly researched and refined by the Med-lectric corporation to provide the same benefits to users with a variety of pain symptoms.
About the Development:
Med-Lectric went through several design iterations of the Delta Scanner to achieve its final design. Using a combination of FDM, SLA “Stereolithography” and Urethane Casting Med-Lectric was able to make prototypes nearly identical to the final design. Urethane was used to achieve an accurate production color that could be tested in clinics and UL certification.
The result was a mature product that had been tested for ergonomic and cosmetic design by end users to gain invaluable feedback. With Conventional Tooling, costly molds or machined parts are used at each revision. These are time and labor intensive and limit the number of revisions possible before a product can be released into the market place.
